grey days: topshop midi

HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAAAAHAHA. Trying to balance on a fire hydrant is surprisingly difficult. Also, it's hilarious. Also, always never trust a photographer to help you because the shot is never always more important than your safety.

Love this dress. Easy. Breezy. Sexy. Cool. It's an: "Aaaahhh what do I wear today. Oh right, that dress I can wear anywhere!" type of dress. Perf.

Latchkeys @ Mercury Lounge

MY NYC MUSICAL debut happened this past weekend at Mercury Lounge. I feel big league.

My very musically gifted brother formed a very musically gifted band, Latchkeys, in which I play keys/synth. Our first show was the bombest.

Top: All Saints (actually, it's a dress hehe)
Skirt: Urban Outfitters (actually, it's also a dress hehe)
Boots: Borrowed from the roomie

music city: drive, the soundtrack + m83, hurry up we're dreaming

STICKY SONGS ARE the best, right? The ones that you play over and over and over and over again during a 3 day period. And then again and again and again and then they somehow end up on every playlist for the rest of the year. Yeah, that's happening with these:

Kavinsky, Nightcall: Drive Original Soundtrack

M83, Midnight City: Hurry Up We're Dreaming

it's so sexy, living in america

BUT WHAT TO wear! Finally decided on jeans and a striped cropped shirt for my patriotic garb and off to my first ever DC 4th of July celebration!

What did youuuuu wear to celebrate?

And equally as important, did you play this song whilst celebrating?
If not, that's too bad, really. You'll be listening to this #onrepeat for the rest of the summer. TRUST.

Aaaand Happy 4th of July! Watch some fireworks!
